At A1 Forklift Truck Training, we provide fully accredited forklift training courses that meet national safety standards, including ITSSAR, AITT, BRITTOp, and the HSE Approved Code of Practice L117. Whether you're new to forklifts or need a refresher, we offer affordable, flexible training tailored to your experience level and location.

Training Centre

Perfect for individuals or small teams who prefer to train off-site in a dedicated training environment.
Training Offsite
(at Your Premises)
What We Need from You:
 
✅ A suitable room for theory sessions
✅ A safe and open area for practical sessions
✅ Access to the relevant forklift(s)
✅ A suitable load for lifting exercises
Training your staff on your own equipment ensures maximum relevance and long-term safety.
Refresher Forklift Training

Previously certified operators (within the last 5 years)

 

1-Day Course – Group of up to 3 Delegates

Conversion Training

Operators switching to a different forklift type

 

1 to 2 Day Course – Group of up to 2 Delegates

 

👉 From £250.00 per person (depending on group size and machine type)

Novice Forklift Training

New operators with no prior experience

 

5-Day Course – Group of 3

4-Day Course – Group of 2

3-Day Course – 1 Delegate

Experienced Operator Training

Operators with informal experience but no certification

 

3-Day Course – Group of 3

MEWP Operator Training (Scissor & Boom Lift)

Operators using access platforms in construction, maintenance, or warehousing

 

1-Day Course – Group of up to 4 Delegates

What’s Included in Every Course:

  • Certification by ITSSAR, AITT, BRITTOp or CITB Approved Training Organisation

  • Entry onto the relevant national registration scheme (TOPS, BRITTOp, AITT)

  • Comprehensive training records and course paperwork

  • Optional Photo ID Card for certified operators

  • HSE-compliant theory and practical assessments

  • Training on the actual equipment used daily

All pricing is plus VAT and includes certification. Registration fee: £7 per person. Photo ID cards available at £15 per person.
